The Word That Heals the Bones
In the beginning, the Word of God spoke and substance formed — bones, sinews, and flesh came together by the power of His breath. The same Word that created life is still speaking today, bringing healing to the deepest structures of our being. Ewing sarcoma may be rare, but it is not beyond the reach of the Redeemer’s hand. Cancer may attack the bone, but the Creator speaks restoration into every cell and fiber that He has made.
The Scripture declares, “He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken” (Psalm 34:20). When the enemy comes against the body — when something tries to corrupt the very frame that holds us up — God’s Word rises to protect and rebuild. Ewing sarcoma may touch the pelvis, the femur, or the tibia, but the power of the Lord Jesus Christ can touch the marrow and command new life to grow. He who said, “Son, your sins are forgiven; rise, take up your bed and walk,” still speaks with authority over every sickness.
Your bones are not forgotten by God. The same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead dwells in you, and “He will quicken your mortal body by His Spirit that dwelleth in you” (Romans 8:11). To quicken means to give life again — to stir what was dormant into divine vitality. Even if cells have been invaded, even if the diagnosis has shaken your hope, remember: the Word of Life penetrates where no medicine can reach.
Just as Ezekiel stood before a valley of dry bones and prophesied life, so too can you stand in faith and declare, “Hear the word of the Lord, O my bones! Receive life again!” God does not need the body to be whole before He heals — He heals to make it whole. Every bone that aches, every joint that swells, every cell that trembles in pain is known to Him. He is not only the God who forgives sins but the One who heals all diseases (Psalm 103:3).
So today, let faith rise within you. Look not at the weakness, but at the Word. Just as light drove out darkness in the first creation, His Word now drives out the shadow of disease. Christ is not a distant healer; He is Emmanuel — “God with us” — even in the trial. Hold to His promise: “For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the Lord” (Jeremiah 30:17). The same blood that saved your soul has purchased healing for your body. You are His temple — and His Spirit still renews what the world calls impossible.
Life from the Spirit — Healing Beyond the Bone
Ewing sarcoma may begin in the bone, but healing begins in the spirit. The world sees tumors and scans; God sees His beloved child, formed in His image and destined for restoration. The body is supported by bones, but the soul is supported by faith. When faith stands firm, healing flows outward — from the spirit to the mind, from the mind to the flesh.
In Mark 5, the woman with the issue of blood had spent all her money on physicians, yet she grew worse. But when she touched the hem of Jesus’ garment, power flowed — not from medicine, but from mercy. The moment her spirit reached out in faith, her body followed. So it is with every healing miracle: the touch of faith awakens divine order in the body.
A sarcoma may try to take root in the structure of your frame, but God’s Word is the greater foundation. The Scripture says, “My words are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh” (Proverbs 4:22). Health to all their flesh — even to the marrow, the joints, and the tissues. Where there has been decay, His Word restores; where there has been weakness, His Spirit brings strength.
Beloved, remember this: disease is not God’s design. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus said, “I am come that they might have life, and have it more abundantly” (John 10:10). Abundant life includes wholeness, soundness, and renewal. Healing is not just recovery — it is redemption expressed in the body.
Even when the pain feels deep, the Spirit goes deeper still. He moves beyond the bone into the unseen places — the soft tissues of the heart, the emotions bruised by fear, the mind weary from waiting. Christ heals the whole person. He heals not only what the doctor sees but what only He can see.
If Ewing sarcoma can appear in the pelvis or thigh, then let faith arise in every joint of your hope. Let your confession be strong: “My bones shall flourish like grass!” (Isaiah 66:14). Speak life to your frame. You are not a victim of your diagnosis; you are a vessel of divine recovery.
Each time you read His Word, you are receiving medicine — heaven’s prescription. “He sent His word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions” (Psalm 107:20). His Word is not symbolic medicine; it is living, breathing power.
Let this be your prayer today:
“Lord Jesus, You bore my sickness as You bore my sin. Let the same power that raised You from the dead flow through my bones, my tissues, my blood, and my breath. Restore me completely, that I may glorify You in body and spirit.”
The God who began a good work in you will finish it — not halfway, but wholly. For the Word has spoken: “I am the Lord that healeth thee” (Exodus 15:26). And He never changes.
