Liver Cancer and Healing Prayer : Finding Mercy and Wholeness

Trusting in God’s Mercy for Liver Cancer Healing

Right now, you’re walking through something very real. Liver cancer is not just a word on a medical report. It can mean pain under the ribs, nausea, fatigue so deep you feel you can’t move, yellowing of the skin or eyes, loss of appetite, and nights where sleep is hard because of fear and discomfort. God sees every symptom, every appointment, every scan, and every tear. And in the middle of all this, His Word declares something stronger than your diagnosis.

Hebrews 2:14 says that through death Jesus destroyed him that had the power of death, that is, the devil. Acts 10:38 says God anointed Jesus, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. Sickness is a work of Satan, not a gift from your Father. Your Father gives good and perfect gifts (James 1:17). Cancer is not one of them.

The light of the Word of God will destroy Satan’s grip in your life in the area of physical suffering. The truth makes you free when you realize your healing has been purchased by the sacrifice of Jesus. You may feel weak in your body, but in Christ you have authority: “Behold, I give you authority… over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you” (Luke 10:19). This includes the power behind cancer.

God can bring emotional healing to you in many different ways as you walk this path. You may experience His presence during worship, where tears flow and, little by little, He releases you from fear, confusion, guilt, and old wounds. Healing can come as you personally pray, seek God, meditate in the Word, and He quietly releases you from inner heaviness and despair. A prophetic word, a Scripture that “jumps” off the page, a friend’s Spirit-led encouragement—these can all be words of knowledge straight from God’s heart, calling you forward into hope.

Sometimes emotional healing comes through time spent with a Christian counsellor who ministers with the Word and the Spirit. Other times it comes as believers—healing teams, friends from church, family who love Jesus—stand with you, lay hands on you, and speak life over your liver, your blood, your immune system, your emotions.

Jesus is not confused about your situation. God is not the author of confusion (1 Corinthians 14:33). He has not changed His mind about you. He still says “whosoever” may come. Jesus is saying this to you now: “Whosoever believes…” includes a person with liver cancer. It includes you, trembling but persistent, choosing to say, “Jesus, You are my Healer. My body belongs to You.”

Take a moment and pray:

“Lord Jesus, according to Your Word, I confess with my mouth that You are Lord. I confess You now as my Healer. I make You Lord over my body. I believe that God raised You from the dead. From this moment, my body is saved, healed, made whole and delivered. Thank You for loving me in the middle of my battle. Amen.”

Standing in Faith for Total Bodily Restoration

Healing is often a journey, and on that journey God is looking for persistence. Elisha was one of the most persistent men in the Bible. In the same way, God is inviting you to be a persistent follower of Jesus. Not perfect—persistent. Persistence does not mean you never feel afraid. It means that, even while feeling afraid, you keep coming back to Jesus and to His Word.

You may identify with this picture: “It seemed as though I wrestled all night long, standing in the open door of the plane, and the same voice kept saying, ‘Jump, I’ll catch you. Don’t you trust Me?’” Right now, the Lord is asking you to “jump” into trust—into believing that His mercy is greater than cancer, greater than symptoms, greater than bad reports.

Mercy is God’s attitude toward you in freely bestowing whatever is necessary to meet your needs. Mercy is the result of compassion. The inward moving of compassion in God’s heart results in the outward manifestation necessary to meet the need. Jesus’ mercy toward the Roman centurion’s servant (Matthew 8; Luke 7) shows this. The centurion only needed a word, and Jesus sent healing at a distance. You may feel like you are far away from everyone, isolated by hospital rooms or exhaustion, but Jesus’ word can travel any distance to touch your liver, your emotions, and your future.

“Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, even as your soul prospers” (3 John 2). Notice the connection: body and soul. As your soul is healed from fear, shame, regret, or generational patterns (“spirit of inheritance”), your body is also impacted. Sometimes the Holy Spirit will gently show you memories, family patterns, or hidden hurts. While listening to your own heart, listen also to the Spirit. He may give you “pictures” or impressions that help you understand the root of your emotional pain or even some physical battles.

This is not to blame you; it is to free you. God’s mercy moves to meet you exactly where you are. The same Jesus who healed a woman with cancer of the tongue with one touch can also release healing power into your liver, your blood, your nervous system, and every cell. He has not run out of power.

Be persistent in the Word: “Keep them in the midst of thine heart.” Continually feed yourself with God’s Word to keep the force of faith alive. E.W. Kenyon spoke of three witnesses in healing: the Word, the pain, and you. You are the deciding factor. If you align your confession with the pain, you will cross the Word. If you align your confession with the Word, you will have to cross the pain. That’s hard—but that’s where persistence lives.

Say by faith, even on weak days:

“Jesus, I thank You for my deliverance. Thank You that every good and perfect gift—including healing, peace, and strength—comes from You. I receive Your mercy, Your compassion, and Your power working in my body and emotions today. I trust You with my liver, my life, and my future. Amen.”

You are not alone in this. The Lord is with you, and His mercy is moving toward you right now.

Miscarriage and Healing Prayer

The God Who Holds Life: A Healing Encouragement for the Womb and the Heart

The signs of early miscarriage can be mistaken for normal symptoms of pregnancy. They can include vaginal bleeding, stomach pain or cramping, and pregnancy symptoms suddenly stopping. Experiencing these miscarriage symptoms does not mean that you’re definitely having an early miscarriage. But, you should speak with your GP, and more than that—you should speak with your Heavenly Father. For there is One who knows the inner workings of your body more deeply than any doctor, and He understands the secret places of your sorrow.

God is the Author of life. From the first moment of conception, when unseen cells begin to divide and grow, His eyes are upon them. “For You created my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother’s womb” (Psalm 139:13). The One who knit you together is also the One who oversees the weaving of life within you. His hands are not weak, nor has His compassion failed. When fear grips your heart, remember: the same Spirit that overshadowed Mary and brought forth divine life dwells in you now, sustaining and strengthening your body.

There are moments when pain or bleeding stir fear, when the signs that should bring joy seem to bring anxiety instead. Yet, faith whispers: Wait on the Lord. Faith does not deny what the body feels; it simply refuses to accept fear as the final voice. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Even if the womb trembles, the promise stands unbroken: “None shall miscarry or be barren in your land; I will fulfill the number of your days” (Exodus 23:26).

Let that promise rest upon your heart like healing oil. God’s Word is not a distant hope but a living force that works within. It is written that He “sent His Word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions” (Psalm 107:20). The Word is not only for the sick in body but also for the grieving in soul. When the womb aches or the heart bleeds, speak life over yourself: The Lord is my healer. His mercy is greater than my fear. His power is working in me now.

Beloved, your body is not your enemy. It is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19). Even when it feels weak, it is precious to God. Lay your hands upon your stomach and pray—not in panic, but in trust. Say, “Lord Jesus, You carried my pains and bore my sorrows. You see every drop of blood, every pang of fear, and every hope in my heart. I give this child, this womb, this moment back to You.” The prayer of faith is not a demand—it is a surrender wrapped in confidence that God’s mercy prevails.

Sometimes healing is instant. Other times, it unfolds gently like dawn breaking after a long night. The woman with the issue of blood reached out in weakness but found strength in His garment. She said within herself, “If I may but touch His clothes, I shall be whole” (Mark 5:28). That whisper of faith still touches the heart of Christ today. Your touch may be trembling, your prayer faint—but He hears. He turns at the sound of your cry.

Even if your journey includes loss, do not let grief have the last word. There is healing for every mother’s heart and redemption even in sorrow. God keeps every tear in His bottle (Psalm 56:8). He remembers, He restores, and He rebuilds. The same Lord who healed barren Hannah and comforted Rachel still visits His daughters with mercy. He does not waste pain; He transforms it into a testimony of His sustaining love.

Standing in Faith for Physical and Heart Restoration

When symptoms confuse you—vaginal bleeding, cramping, or pregnancy symptoms suddenly stopping—do not immediately surrender to despair. Seek medical wisdom, yes, but also seek divine peace. Speak life into your body. Declare the promise of Psalm 91:16: “With long life will I satisfy you, and show you My salvation.” Your salvation includes healing, strength, and divine protection.

Remember the woman in Luke 13 who had been bound by infirmity for eighteen years. When Jesus saw her, He called her forward and said, “Woman, you are loosed from your infirmity.” She did not even ask; His compassion compelled Him. In the same way, Jesus sees you—your fear, your tears, your pain—and calls you loosed from affliction. His Word still speaks to every trembling mother: Be at peace; your faith has made you whole.

Do not be afraid to hope again. The enemy of your soul would have you believe that your body has failed or that God is distant, but these are lies. The truth is this: you are loved, you are seen, and you are being healed from the inside out. The resurrection power of Jesus flows not only through the heart but through every cell, tissue, and organ. It is written, “The Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you; He who raised Christ from the dead will also quicken your mortal body” (Romans 8:11). That quickening includes the womb.

In moments of stillness, when you are unsure, whisper His Name. There is healing in that Name—healing that surpasses understanding, that enters the quiet chambers of the womb and the deeper chambers of the heart. Call upon the Lord Jesus Christ, and let His peace guard your mind and body. “You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are stayed on You, because they trust in You” (Isaiah 26:3).

If healing comes swiftly, rejoice. If it tarries, trust. For faith is not based on outcome but on the unchanging nature of God. He is still Jehovah-Rapha, “the Lord who heals you” (Exodus 15:26). He heals broken bodies and broken dreams alike.

To every woman who fears loss, the Lord says, “I am near. I hold you and the life within you. Even in uncertainty, I am faithful. Trust Me.” Whether this pregnancy continues or not, He has promised to restore your soul and give you beauty for ashes. He is not finished with your story; He is shaping it into something eternal.

Lift your eyes, dear one. Healing begins when faith looks up instead of inward. Speak His promises out loud. Read them daily. Let the Word become flesh within your heart as surely as life began within your body. God’s healing power does not depend on perfect circumstances—it depends on His perfect love.

So breathe, pray, and rest. The same God who began a good work in you will carry it to completion. You are not alone in this journey. Heaven surrounds you. The Spirit intercedes for you with groanings too deep for words. Christ Himself stands beside you, holding both your womb and your future in His hands.

And when you rise each morning, whisper again: “Lord, I believe. Be it unto me according to Your Word.”

Dystonia Explained and Healing Prayer

The Sign and the Savior

The word miracles comes from the Greek semeion, meaning “a sign, a signal, a mark of identity.” The miracles of Christ were not random acts of compassion—they were signs authenticating His divine mission. They declared to the world: “This is the Christ of God.” Every healing, every deliverance, every wonder—whether turning water into wine or raising the dead—was a living sermon announcing that God had drawn near to restore humanity completely: spirit, soul, and body.

Now consider this truth: if the type—the earthly Jesus—was filled with signs of healing, then the antitype—the risen Christ—must still carry that same power. Otherwise, the type would mislead. Christ’s compassion in Galilee is not ancient history; it is eternal character. He is “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today, and forever” (Hebrews 13:8).

Dystonia, like many afflictions of the body, causes involuntary muscle spasms, painful contractions, and abnormal postures that can distort movement and speech. It is a physical reminder that creation still groans under the weight of corruption (Romans 8:22). But into that groaning world came the Redeemer who bore both sin and sickness. Matthew 8:17 declares, “Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses.” He did not merely witness human weakness—He carried it.

When Jesus healed “all that were sick,” He demonstrated that divine healing was no side ministry; it was fulfillment of prophecy. Isaiah saw it centuries before: “With His stripes we are healed” (Isaiah 53:5). Healing is not a modern invention, nor a mere blessing for a few—it is written into redemption’s plan. Before the Cross, people were healed on credit for what Jesus would do. Since the Cross, we are healed based on what Jesus has already done.

The most common tradition says, “The age of miracles has passed.” But that statement itself is unscriptural. The same Holy Spirit who healed multitudes in Christ’s earthly ministry is still the Miracle-Worker today. He has not grown weary nor withdrawn His power. As Peter said, “His divine power has given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness” (2 Peter 1:3). “All things” includes physical health and renewal.

If you are battling dystonia, you are not forgotten. The spasms and twisting that trouble your body cannot separate you from the love or power of Christ. The same Spirit who hovered over chaos now hovers over your life, waiting for your agreement with His Word. As you thank God for small mercies, He gives more light. Gratitude opens the heart for greater grace. Thank Him for each breath, each hour of peace, each moment of relief—and faith will begin to rise where fear once stood. Healing begins where thanksgiving flows.

The Good Fight of Faith

Paul wrote, “Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life.” (1 Timothy 6:12) The “good fight” is the one you win—by refusing to let go of what Jesus already bought for you. “Lay hold” means to take, to seize, to receive actively. Healing is not earned, but it is received. It is part of eternal life—God’s quality of life—working now in mortal flesh.

Dystonia may challenge your movement, voice, or daily activity, but it cannot change your covenant. The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead is quickening your mortal body (Romans 8:11). That quickening may be gradual, but it is real. The Lord has not abandoned His temple to distortion or disease. Your body belongs to Him, and He knows how to set His temple free from the domination of sickness, sin, and Satan.

In Acts 3:16, Peter declared healing through Christ’s name: “His name through faith in His name has made this man strong… the faith which is by Him has given him this perfect soundness.” That “perfect soundness” was the visible testimony of a living Christ. Miracles are not only for comfort—they are signs meant to glorify His name. Healing is not the end; it is the witness that Jesus lives.

So what kind of Gospel do we believe? A partial one, that forgives but does not heal? Or the full Gospel—the one that redeems, restores, and renews? To say the age of miracles is past is to claim the age of the Holy Spirit is past. But the Spirit still breathes life into broken nerves, weary minds, and trembling hands. He still whispers, “Rise and walk,” and faith still answers, “Be it unto me according to Thy Word.”

If you live a long life, you’ll have to overcome much—but you were born to overcome. Each day you lift your eyes and confess His promises, you are fighting the good fight. Healing may not always be instant, but the process is sacred. Every symptom faced with faith becomes a testimony in the making.

Find something to thank God for today. Thank Him that His name is still Jehovah-Rapha—the Lord who heals you. Thank Him that the stripes of Christ still speak your wholeness. Thank Him that the Holy Spirit, the same Miracle-Worker of Pentecost, still lives in you.

Miracles are not mythology—they are signs of the living Christ in you. Dystonia may affect your body, but it cannot stop resurrection life. You can believe this even if you don’t yet understand it. Because the One who bore your pain is alive—and His touch still makes the broken whole.
